4 ft × 8 ft vertical-groove beadboard sheets · 32 sq ft each
Starting price: $29.98/sheet, observed from Home Depot EUCATILE model 975-759. Editable estimate—not live local pricing. Verify stock and dimensions before purchasing.
For now: rectangular wall only, 8 ft panel height maximum, no openings or reused cutoffs. Hanging hooks must be anchored independently of thin paneling.
Proportional front elevation showing 48-inch sheet modules, intended panel height and a schematic decorative finish. Changes with your wall measurements above.
Conceptual drawing—not an installation drawing. Sheet joints are shown at nominal 48-inch modules. Expansion gaps, actual product coverage, trim profiles, hooks, attachment into studs/backing, obstacles and field dimensions must be verified before cutting or installing. Grooves and hook spacing are schematic.
Beadboard sheets only (2 × $29.98)$59.96
Important assumptions & exclusions
Sheet dimensions: 48 in. × 96 in.; grooves assumed to run vertically. Each cut piece is taken from a separate full sheet.
Geometry count is based on wall width. Additional whole-sheet reserve is estimated by wall area plus your chosen waste percentage; it is not a guaranteed cut-optimization allowance.
Assumes a single flat, unobstructed rectangular wall, no hidden damage, and panel height at most 8 ft. No outlet, door, window or corner deductions.
Verify actual usable coverage, fit tolerances, expansion gaps, material suitability and installation instructions for the product purchased.
Cost shown is beadboard sheets only. Paint, adhesive, trim, hooks, backing, fasteners, tools, tax, delivery and labor are excluded.
Hooks need framing or approved rated anchorage. Do not rely on thin decorative beadboard sheets to support hanging loads.
Preliminary planning estimate only; not a permit drawing, engineering document, or completed purchase takeoff.

Your project readiness checklist
This is not a generic installation tutorial. It flags steps from the panel manufacturer’s published guide and decisions that require site verification. Checking a box records your own review; it does not certify a safe installation.
Not a construction approval. Read the complete current instructions supplied with the specific product and adhesive. Product guidance may change. Structural loads, framing, electrical conditions and local code requirements cannot be verified by this planner.

Load-bearing hardware: Hooks and ledges must be securely attached to suitable backing/framing or approved rated anchors. Thin decorative beadboard alone is not an acceptable assumed anchoring system.

04 / Pre-purchase readiness checklist
The following items require customer review. This sheet does not substitute for the complete current product guide or site-specific professional advice.
01 · Verify the location
☐Confirm a dry, sound interior wall. This template assumes existing flat, clean, sound drywall over framing in a dry interior room. Do not use the generic estimate for wet or heat-exposed locations; verify local building-code requirements.
☐Verify the exact panel and dimensions. Check EUCATILE model 975-759, 3/16-in. thickness, nominal 48 × 96 in. sheets and intended groove direction. Inspect for damage. Confirm usable coverage, finish and paint compatibility before buying.
☐Survey outlets, doors, windows and corners. These are excluded from the automatic cut layout. Record every obstruction and confirm required electrical-box extensions or other trade work with an appropriately qualified person before cutting.
02 · Prepare before cutting
☐Acclimate panels in the installation room. The linked Eucatex installation guide specifies at least 72 hours, with spacers so room air can circulate around sheets. Follow the instructions supplied with your purchased batch if they differ.
☐Resolve expansion clearances before marking cuts. The guide lists 1/16 in. side-to-side between panels and discusses top/bottom clearance by installation condition. Its full-height cutting paragraph gives a different clearance example. Verify the correct assembly-specific gaps with the manufacturer; the drawing shows NOMINAL cut dimensions, not finished cuts.
03 · Confirm installation details
☐Choose an approved panel adhesive and usage rate. Check that the adhesive is suitable for this panel and drywall, and follow the adhesive manufacturer's surface prep, bead pattern, open time and cure instructions. The calculator's cartridges-per-sheet is only a budget allowance.
☐Do not nail the thin decorative panels. The linked guide cautions against nail-fastening panels 3/16 in. thick or less because expansion/contraction can buckle them. Resolve any temporary holding method with the product and adhesive instructions.
☐Design separate anchoring for hooks and ledge. Locate suitable framing or rated backing, identify the intended hanging loads and verify the selected fasteners. The evenly spaced hook symbols and cap detail in the drawing are decorative placeholders, NOT mounting coordinates.
☐Confirm cutting methods and safe work practices. Review the guide's blade and face orientation recommendations and use appropriate eye and respiratory protection. Identify concealed electrical or plumbing services before working on the wall.
04 · Confirm finishes and closeout
☐Verify paint and sealant sequence. The linked guide calls for at least 24 hours of adhesive cure before caulking and specifies 100% silicone, which may not accept paint. Confirm product compatibility and the painting/caulking sequence before ordering or applying finishes.
☐Review the unpriced scope and actual local costs. Confirm primers if needed, tools, protection, outlet work, fastener design, sales tax, delivery and disposal. Adjust every provisional unit price and usage assumption before deciding whether to purchase materials.
CHECKBOXES ARE NOT PROOF OF INSTALLATION SAFETY. Verify panel expansion gaps, adhesive and 100% silicone sealant directions before cutting or installing. Do not anchor hooks or ledges to thin decorative panels alone.
